Fun fact :
1. Bird's nest (swallow bird) is literally their spit.
3. The fungus (cordyceps) is actually a zombie fungus that infiltrate and take over a bug until eventually they become like that. Also "cordyceps" is the strain that is used as the culprit that causes the outbreak in last of us movie and game.

A soup made from the fins of a shark.
The name doesn't make it cruel but the greed is.
Basically sharks are cought alive and they're fins are cut out and then thrown back to the sea where they die by drowning.
This is one of the cultures which should be dead but fine dining is keeping it alive
