🥒 *ABOUT BEFRS:*
Hi, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but been living in Asia for 10 years & started making food/travel videos to document my experiences. I travel around the world, hunting down & documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

See factual errors? Please comment it out. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show’s from a Western POV, but more importantly, MY POV. It’s not meant to offend any person or culture. Peace!

Hearing you say you don’t like cucumbers and reach for carrots instead after seeing you eat so many insects and rotten fish is so funny to me 😂

Thank you so much for bringing Cambodia cuisine to the channel. Being a first generation Cambodia American, it means a lot to see mainstream channels showing the place I love soo much. I cant wait to go back. And luckily that is soon

I really love how Sonny asks them “what is the idea of success here” and “how does a good day look like?”.

He isn’t just showcasing unique food but also humanity in the lesser known place in Cambodia ❤

Hi Sunny,

As much as I love my home country Cambodian food, I'm super happy and proud that you documented our food and culture and shared them with your audiences around the world.

Once again, thanks for your kind visit and I hope every Cambodians you interacted with, greeted you with kindness and respect.

Tarantula keeper here: they live super long but don't have a huge about of care necessary. I feel like a great way to making bugs a part of a sustainable diet (especially tarantulas) would be to just have essentially farms where you raise them the same way hobbyists and breeders raise them as pets. Plus there's less risk of any harmful parasites in/on the tarantulas! Plus with breeding you can make sure a vast majority of the babies from the eggs live and grow to be more edible tarantulas

Oh man during the Khmer war that’s what we survived non is catching a lot of frogs. Especially after the rain a few days later we go hunting for frogs. My grandma were the best chef. We. Ate it with cassava roots and harmony corn. Because we don’t have any rice. So remind me of that tough time of course I was just 7-8 years old any thing taste good. Thank you for sharing this video Sonny. God bless you all. 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
