Hola. Hi. I was 13 in 1979, and now I am definitely crying inside, because I was happy then. I still feel that it was the best year for music, with amazing albums released by The Police, The Jam, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley & the Wailers, Joe Jackson, The Clash, ABBA, Led Zeppelin, KISS, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Supertramp, Cheap Trick, The Romantics, Tequila and many others. Us Generation X people were very good-looking back then, and hopes and pretty dreams were intact. August 2024

1979 war ich ein junger gesunder Teenager mit 18 Jahren. Die Welt stand uns allen offen und die Musik war vom Allerfeinsten. Auch ich trug Schuhe mit Wahnsinns Absätzen, Jacken die man mit Nieten "verschönerte", Alles war Bunt (vor allem die Autos) und es funktionierte alles Bestens ohne Internet und Handy. Ob uns die moderne Zeit mehr "Glück" brachte bezweifle ich sehr stark.
