The left button on my remote won’t register when I click it. I have to click it very hard for it to register. The thing is I have another Siri Remote that does the exact same thing now for the same button. They are both just over a year old. They both worked fine for the first year and I have to click hard on both for the left button to register. Any idea why that is? I understand if one was defective or got damaged but both? I haven’t seen others with this issue

i just had this problem where the apple remote no longer controlled the volume on my TV. called apple and was told it was my TV. did this and now it works fine. unreal apple support, great job.

Ok, I’m sure you have heard of this problem but I can’t find a fix for it. I have a Samsung TV and Soundbar. Recently, I bought a new Apple TV so I can subscribe to YouTube and then “cut the cable” for Comcast except for the internet connection. My wife was thrilled since we can now (or so I thought) get by with the one Apple TV remote. It appears that I can control the volume, turn off TV and of course control the Apple TV. However, after the TV has been off for a while (at least a couple hours), when I press the on button on the remote the soundbar comes on but not the TV. Then I have to get the Samsung remote to turn on the TV. Not sure what the problem is. Any ideas?
