Whoa! 41 years here in Japan, now a retired academic ... and in both Zuby and John Bush, I see pretty much the same conclusions I've come to through living in Japan. John, in describing how the incentives for centrally controlled digital currency, mirrors exactly what has been happening in Japan. As a lifelong educator, I've both witnessed and been victimized by an education system in the U.S. and then in Japan, which places unquestioned compliance to authority as the highest virtue, so my waning years are dedicated to helping "free school" start-ups bridge the gap between the dog-eat-dog reality of public education and the lack of resources and experience for home-schooling. Not much money in it, but at my age (68), any more money than I need for survival and carrying on work is not necessary.
Cheers from Japan to both of you, as well as the red-pilled among the audience.

Born as a country boy and retired as a country boy! For 40 years in between, lived all over due to 20 yrs in the Army n 20 years in civilian employment!!! Not a prepper, but live very rural! 2 wells, high water tables in my location! Food rambles across my property all the time and several farms in my area, many who I know!!!

Good to come across another guy with his eyes open and, if nothing else, questioning narratives. Wish there were more of us

After 30 years in the city I retired to rural America. No regrets. Loved this interview...

This freedom and living off the land is nothing but a romantic ideal. Most give up due to the hard work, deprivation and low skills. As a city kid i dreamed of this and at 18 I got several farm jobs to learn skills. Immerse yourself in a real rural community. Not an intentional one, they never work. Get to know your neighbors and be respectful. Don't try and impose your city superiority on them. Learn hard work. You will have to work a job away from your homestead then come home and cook, feed animals, repair fences, tend a garden, while building and renovating your home. I did it for 50 years as a single woman.

Moved out of suburban Seattle to a 20 acre Homestead in super rural Oklahoma. Becoming food self sufficient is very difficult. Im getting close on animal based protien(eggs, lamb and beef)... gardening and crops very hard.

Glad to have found this video. Many of us came to these realizations through the same trigger events. I'm a generation older, yet our stories still parallel somewhat. My best friend lives in Bastrop, do I'm bummed to have missed this May event. Hoping there's another way to network and incest in this rebuild. Best wishes!

What you describe has been happening in South Africa for 30 years since 1994. You should come and look at what is happening here. Half the population live on government handouts and the government then uses this to stay in power by threatening to take away the handouts. So those on the handouts keep voting them in. They have just signed a bill to take over the medical industry and will do the same. Sadly big business have not helped by working with the government.

No, PLEASE stay in your liberal cities. You voted in all those anti American politics now deal with it. Leave the rest of the US a lone!

The community John talks about already existed in rural Europe. My grandparent’s village in Eastern Europe was self sufficient. Organic crops, livestock and trading / bartering with each other for products. Two World Wars changed this lifestyle.

No, stay in the city. The urban demographic decides who is in power. Therefore, the urban demographic is responsible for the current issues. You don't get to now run away and impose yourselves on the rural areas. Stay in the city and vote better.
