How Muslims defeated the Vikings when the whole world couldn't.

In 844 Vikings raided Seville with 80 Viking ships and 16,000 fighters.

They attacked successfully as there was no Muslim army in Seville.

The raid of Vikings reached the Muslim leader Abdul Rahman, a Muslim leader who quickly collect an army of around 15,000 warriors.

The battle started and Muslims managed to defeat the Vikings killing nearly 2500 of their fighters.

They also destroyed 40 Viking and burned 20 ships and took the remaining ships. The remaining Vikings forces were taken as captives and their leader, Bjorn Ironside tried to escape but found no available ships.

The Vikings leader surrendered asking for mercy for the captives and promising not to attack Andalusia again.

In return, the Vikings sought a safe journey back to Norway.
