Once when I was like 6 some random lady started yelling at me for biking on the sidewalk, she kept saying I could’ve scared her dog, which made no sense since the dog saw me pass them and literally did not care.

Here’s a nice story to offset all these Karens:
Me and my mom were stopping at [insert supermarket chain] and we usually go to self checkout at this particular store because all the regular checkout lines are usually pretty long.
This particular day, the self checkout machine was extra finicky— we were having trouble even scanning items, and even when we did scan an item, sometimes the machine would not detect it as scanned and we would have to remove the item from our list and scan it again. The machine stopped us with the ‘please wait for store employee’ problem multiple times, and every time it was this old lady who came over to fix it. She was super kind and understanding of the whole thing even though I still felt bad for her having to come over to scan her employee tag so many times

I work at a dog grooming salon and it's fairly common for people to get upset at us because their rabies is out of date. Or when they forget the paperwork in the car and get upset when we can't hold their dog.

One time when I was 12 I was at the dog park with my 150 pound cane corso, and this Karen shows up goes up to the gate and walks right next to it, and me and jaguar were the only ones there so he ran up to the gate, she was outside and he was inside, and she began screaming at me “GET THIS DOG AWAY FROM ME, GET IT AWAY” I was lazy so I pretended to not hear her and she kept screaming at me, so I pulled him away, and guess what she lived right next to it, lady why would you live next to a doggy park if you hate dogs?

Airport Karen story: My family traveled to the Dominican Republic several years ago on vacation. As we were waiting in the security check line upon arrival, we noticed a live mariachi band was playing. While our parents waited in line, my sister and I went closer to enjoy the music. A lady passing by them started to visibly make fun of their language and instruments. Thankfully, it was just a passing comment, and the rest of the vacation was superb, but the snappy "blah, blah, blah" will remain a core memory.

On an unrelated note, my grandma is named Karen.

I had a run-in with a Karen once, but it wasn’t directly. I could also see why somebody would be mad at me and my three other friends for doing this, but her choice of words made me think that this woman had issues. So, it started when me and my friends found a dock that had broken of the mainland at a campground near a lake where multiple families were staying. None of the families knew the other families. Anyway, after we found this stray dock, we casually started using it as a paddle board. And a Karen saw us and said something along the lines of: “This is a public lake” and “You shouldn’t be harassing other people.” We ended up getting the heck outta there, not because we didn’t want to get the security called on us, but because her ranting was just so annoying. Remember, we were on a dock in a lake, but the Karen was on dry land about 3-4 meters away. The funniest part about this is that she turned to another lady and asked her if she agreed with her. That was my friend’s mother. 😂

I saw a Karen once I was just on a park bench with my friends and we were eating sandwiches and chatting having a good time and then this Karen comes and says we can’t eat there because she assumed we would litter with the sandwich wrappers like wth why would you just assume that😂

I have an aunt named Karen she started seeing videos of annoying middle aged women with that title and she told me that we should call them Beth because that’s the name of a coworker she dislikes

sweatshirts are great because you can store basically anything in them, even if you don't have anything a karen can't really tell so all you have to do if a karen comes up to you while you're wearing a sweatshirt is ask them: "do you know what's in my pockets, ma'am?"

We were on a field trip and we had to do an activity so we set our waters down. 5 minutes later this Karen comes up and starts yelling that we were being disrespectful to the memorial even though we were honoring it.

One time me and my friend gave a thumbs down to some guy in a pickup truck while crossing the street, and when we were fully across he yelled out his window "why’d you give a thumbs down ya little shits!" Which made us laugh our asses off, but it’s still the only karen-like experience i’ve had

My mom, my sister and I were walking our dogs across a golf course were members in and then a Kevin like threatened us saying he’ll get his gun and shoot us and we had to bolt out of there. A cop came in and we told him everything and my mom showed him a video she recorded. I think since then, the guy moved out of the neighborhood but I’m not sure what else happened
