Wow, I've been using my orbital sander for a couple weeks and getting dust all over myself. Thought I reached a break through when I figured out I was supposed to hook up the shop vac. I was perplexed when that didn't work. Only after watching this video did I realize that the holes are needed in the paper. Thanks!!!

this portable orbital sander looks so convenient. In our factory we make biggger sanding machine to polish wood door or plank, but maybe in the future we will consider this cute sander.

Thanks a bunch. Just stripping and then sanding my oak stairs. Although only a couple of years old they are the wrong colour stain. Did not want to over sand and mark them. I will buy an orbital sander to prevent scratches.👍

Thanks for the succinct tutorial! I'm gonna do my hardwood floors and didn't feel like renting and lugging around a hardware store rental. I've got both of these types and the orbital (circular) sander with 80 grit seems to be the answer...
