The pencil mark doesn't necessarily remove swirl marks. It's to make sure it's fully sanded

Hey, you may also want to consider that swirl marks are often caused by a grain or two of the previous larger grit left on the surface of the work. Brush off between grits.

Nice one John I usually do 180 aswell but only cause am kinda anal like that and unfortunately can't afford the really expensive sandpaper right now so go all the way through. Waiting desperately for next video!👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Tip 1 buy Sander with sanding discs
Tip 2 use sander
Tip 3 make video

Or, do real pro work and learn to use hand planes and srapers. Then the only sanding you’ll do is to lightly rough up the surface to accept a finish.

Full crap John you should never jump more than 20 grits per desk anything more than 40 you're definitely going to have extra swirl marks you know the pulling the Dust Away with the vacuum thing yeah that does help a little bit mark it with a pencil bro you should be able to freaking figure that s*** out on your own
