Tiggy but I'd get the 162 R Line, diesels in this size car are a little pointless unless you're doing massive mileage or a lot of towing. And with the up spec Tiggy you get adaptive dampers so that addresses the ride to a large extent

I have the original 2.2L diesel. Such an awesome engine. High rpm for a diesel engine. I think that the new Tiguan seems much better than the previous model. I hope it has a better diesel. When Wheels compared the original CX-5 diesel/petrol vs the Tiguan TDI/TSI - the Tiguan TDI was the lazy of the bunch and the 2.2L blew it away. It's the reason we bought the CX-5 in first place.
