Fun fact : today is my birthday! This idea smacked me upside the head and I knew I just had to make it so I jammed it out once I managed to get my homework out of the way. It’s of course super speculative and everything but I think it turned out okay! Lol probably the closest I’ve got to doing an animatic and not a Pmv in a while. I think this animatic is just incredible. It's one of the first uses of Gaster that's felt appropriate to me, but there's so many little details that just sing to me.

Papyrus looking excitedly and Sans having this knowing look that something bad is happening. Susie mourning over the stabbed Ace of Spades card. The double meaning as the animatic cuts to Asgore sitting by Rudolph as the lyrics say "Dreamless sleep". The way the wind suddenly drops as something comes behind Noelle/Dess. Berdley rising to the task of leading others in desperate circumstances (plus his arm in the sling from breaking it during Ch. 2). The juxtaposition between Ralsei and Asriel stepping into the town, constrasting the look of wonder and the look of horror. Then the cut to Kris with determination shining in their eyes.

All of it is just. Perfect. Thanks for making this.

The old bunker at the end of town seems fitting to be the final Fountain that drags the world into an inky black chaos.
Where the dark world and the light world collide, and secrets rise from the shadows.
I’m honestly stoked for what’s to come.

Honestly the idea of a dark fountain forming in the light world giving characters such as ralsai the ability to exist in the light world is so cool to me same with the whole apocalypse theme of berdly being the leader and gaster not really being a person but more of the dark fountain itself

Oh that’s so interesting. The little shot of ralsei stepping into the light world for the first time with wide eyes taking it all in and then it cuts to asriel stricken with fear cause he knows exactly what’s going on. It’s really good, makes me even wonder if asriel KNOWS about ralsei, and if he doesn’t what he would think.

gaster has to be important. with all the talk of darkness and his entry 17, the character creation dialogue and the sprites being called goner, the garbage noise on the phone that comes from entry 17... i wonder how much Kris and Gaster are connected... he's everywhere and NOWHERE all at the same time. eh, it's rude to talk about someone who's listening

I feel like the "laughter and singing will die" part is underrated because well. Lancer is THE comidic relief. The games lighthearted when hes there. But now hes gone. And the gravity of the situation sets in
