Yes, prenups are a good idea. Things change and people change. It's call protecting yourself. It's not preparing for failure, must have a plan b. This is why people need to have something for themselves regardless if you're married or not.

That lady in the middle was extremely idiotic. She basically said that it’s ok for a woman to kick the male out and take everything but not for a man to do the same thing. I’m all for equality, if the male works, makes and spends all the money, then they should keep most of the things. Same thing goes with if woman do all the work.That’s EQUALITY.

I used to be totally against pre-nups and think their synicall like the ladies on the left. However someone made the comparison to insurance and I understood. Pre-nups are like insurance. We dont have car or home insurance because we want something bad to happen, their in case something bad happens. Because life and people are unpredictable and we should be covered should something ever happen.

The one that said " if you sign a pre-nup you are expecting to break up". That is like someone telling you don't buy car insurance because your are expecting to get into a car accident and die. Beyond stupid.

I don't see anything wrong with prenups especially if the partners are in two different financial stages. It's just to ensure that no one is trying to take advantage of someone's wealth.
