I think prenups are more necessary post-children. But if you're getting to focus on a career while you expect your spouse to bear the familial load, the seeds you're planting for your family should extend to your spouse that is watering and nurturing the roots.

Nowadays, one person's income is greater than the others. People are ruthless when relationships are over. Sign a prenup and save your assets.

sign a prenup, people get emotional over conflict. Trust the contract, DO NOT trust people.

What about when you have a baby with someone and leave the workforce to stay at home? Putting your career on hold is a big sacrifice, and instead of saving and investing, you’re taking care of your child. Also, a lot of states default towards splitting the increase in wealth since getting married, and doesn’t allow you to take what someone else came into the relationship with.

Everybody has a prenup — and it’s called state marital laws. IF YOU DISAGREE WITH THESE, you need to make your own prenup.

Me and my husband both givers and that’s something neither of us cared about.

All of my children know they must get a prenup. Don't care how little money they have. Get a prenup!

When “till death do us part” is not understood, it’s tends to gum up the works.

I might get a prenup but I’d rather just marry someone who truly believes divorce is not an option; someone who’s willing to walk through hell with me and I with her no matter what tribulations we face.
Leila told Alex she didn’t care where things would go; she’d sleep under a bridge with him if she had to. I believe she meant it.

Personally, i wouldn't ever sign one and I'm the one that makes the money. If you haven't sussed out my character enough to know that not only do i not want your money, i don't need your money and i have no greed in me.

Where i think it gets tricky, is that if one of you is from a family with assests, your parents both die and you could quickly end up with a lot to lose.

Or if there's a massive disparity in earning potential; im an aerospace engineer and im currently dating an admin assistant. We both might not have much coz we're young but chances are in another 10 years i'll be massively out earning her and she hasnt done much to facilitate that. I studied hard and chose a more lucrative vocation, why should someone else pick the fruit off a tree I planted well before they came along? But asking for a prenup when you dont have much to protect yet does seem weird at this stage.

Same, wouldn't care at all about signing a prenup

1, 000% yes. No one gets married thinking they will divorce. People change and divorces are always expensive. People need to protect themselves.

You cannot get married in the Catholic Church with a prenup. It’s like saying, “it’s not going to work and I’m coming into this relationship, with you without sharing my life…”.

It would be a shame if these two didn't have a little one❤

The entire thing is just ruthless in nature the entire one spouse taking another spouse's assets and right off in the sunset it makes no sense the concept of divorce makes no sense and to speak of it is heresy
