Just finished building this pc (with a few tweaks). Couldn’t be happier with its performance. I get 90-130 frames on 1440p in warzone. Never thought I could get that performance for under $1000. Thank you Zach🙌

That mATX DIYPC case is the best (IMO) $49 case a person can buy (new from NewEgg). Just finished a super budget Optiplex 3020 "build" (recycled from work, so it was free) using that case - under $300! Quick spec:
- Dell MIH81R Tigris Motherboard (from the recycled PC)
- Xeon E3-1241v3 CPU
- 16GB (2x8GB) Crucial DDR3 RAM
- PNY GTX 770 GPU (from an old 2014 build)
- Corsair CX650 PSU
- 240GB ADATA SSD
- 250GB Western Digital HDD (from the recycled PC)

Yikes! I super disagree with the choice of using the 10100f, but to each their own, I suppose. I definitely would’ve picked the 12100f or 5600 (non X). I probably would’ve done the following:

5600 - $180
Stock cooler - free
B550 Amazon warehouse- $60
500gb SSD - $40
550w PSU - $40
16GB ddr4 - $50
DIYPC case $50
Rx 6600 - $325
Total: $755 (these are new prices, although I would personally look for local deals on cases, PSUs, and RAM to make it even lower.

Love your pick on the monitor and peripherals though!! Great choices! Obviously the build I put forward would bring you over budget and then the title wouldn’t fit quite as nice, but boy oh boy is the extra performance worth it. The 10100f in a $700 2022 build is a bitttt of an *oof*.

Great video as always. Thanks for the content!

Unrated channel. Always has some good content... watching him inspired me to build my own pc last year. So glad I came across it!

I bought a pixio monitor 2 months ago. The P277P. It's a 1440p 165hz monitor. I like it alot. But I believe pixio is using 4K screens in them now, because my series S and PS5 kept saying it was a 4K monitor. When I changed the resolution, and checked the monitor menu, yep it shows 2160p

This is such a great video, but I was wondering on what you would think would be the best way to upgrade this for better performance

For the mouse it would be better if you went with a g502 hero, it has more features for it's price but it is a little more heavier so you do you

Made a 1000 USD setup. Took me many months to find the best combo but yeah its good to have everything that ISNT the computer be 300 USD and everything that IS the computer be 700 USD. A 200 USD GPU and 200 USD CPU worked fine for me. In this case I went with a i5-13400 and a GTX 1660S. Then a 100 USD motherboard worked fine and a 100 USD case. The final 100 USD for the computer went to a 500W PSU(evga), 1TB of SSD(intel 670p), and 16GB of ram(crucial ddr4). Only way I could pull that off was finding some good sales. For the monitor I found a 100 USD Apple Thunderbolt display which I love for the aesthetics and I don't need that much of a fancy monitor anyway. Then the Keyboard and Mouse which together costed another 100 and the final 100 USD I used for general things like the table, chair, operating system, building fee. A fine gaming setup from complete scratch for just 1000 USD! What a great time we are in to be making computers, in 2020 you couldn't even find a GPU for 200 USD!

for the monitor i personally would go with a sceptre 24 or 27 inch since its the same specs, ips panel and its about 60-70 dollars cheaper

I don't really have a budget, but I don't know anything about pc's so if I spend a lot of money on something I don't know how to set up that's a waste of money
