This is a GROWN woman! This is the type of woman a man without his life together would never try.

Real facts perfect is not even real we all have our struggles whomever they may be but we have to try to overcome all the lows to get to the highs

That's why I chuckle when I hear this generation talk about not wanting "struggle love". We married at 24 and 22. You don't know jack shit about being a wife/husband at that age! But you STRUGGLE through the trying times and simply keep going home. GO HOME!!!
Now at 47 and 45, life is grand and we're happy to talk about the journey.
People, find someone to hold onto. You need them and they need you!

Thank you for engaging these women who can have real conversations and aren’t desperately attempting to create sound bites. 💯

Finally I think so many ignorant women speaking out are forcing the grown women to speak up. I have been in a relationship for 13 years. We have had a ton of problems and struggles but we have built a beautiful family, we’re in love, and I’m just happy. I’m not stressed over things a lot of women stress over. I cannot stress it enough ladies - Step 1: choose younger so you have the most options you will have; Step 2: judge him by his character & morals; Step 3: commit - Relationships are hard at times but if yal can progress and make a life together that counts for much more that’s what life is about. My husband is my bestfriend. He’s seen me grow and watched me over the years. I have for him too. I wouldn’t trade this feeling for anything the world. Stick it out ladies when you find a good dude. They are far and few. Most of my black girlfriends are single and all once had a guy that loved them!

Nothing is perfect and thinking a relationship is/will be you've already lost.

I haven't seen the whole interview but I truly enjoyed listening to this woman speak in this short. I agree with what this woman stated. Any level-headed person doesn't look to cause issues in their marriage however trials do come. How you deal with them as individuals and as a unit shows what you and your spouse are made of. Grant one another grace to grow and let your intentions be pure.

Beautiful articulate woman. She's absolutely correct. That's what real long term marriage is made of.
Thank you, for having uplifting intelligent conversation and displaying real BM & BW as the great people that we are.

Finally - I have been married 20 plus years to a wonderful loving man. It is NOT perfect but it works for us. All these women who think there will be no issues when your married are crazy. It is literally two people coming together and sharing a life together, you don’t think they will have arguments and disagreements? What makes it work is HOW you deal with the bad times you BOTH face. When your Married all selfishness has to go. Everything you do, you have to think about the next person. So if your not willing to care and sometimes put yourself last DO NOT GET MARRIED. Marriage is like a Eilat coaster, good times and bad times. If your foundation is solid, you can get through the bad times together and come out better together. 😌🙏🏽

IMO, I would rather have a partner not a trophy. I want my girl to be fighting through life’s challenges by my side than sitting there just looking pretty. Loved your advice here

Shalom beautiful people and many blessings to you all and to your beautiful families.

This beautiful woman of substance spoke truth. And we have been taught incorrectly on how to see perfection, even in the building processes of relationships and marriages.

Because perfection has nothing to do with the images people try to construct from a physical or external representation. As the beautiful lady has stated, life comes with alot of challenges, trials, storms, and tests, and it is those things that help to give a profound definition to what perfection looks like within the building process of a marriage and a relationship. Because perfection has everything to do with the process of refinement, restoration, cultivation, development, maturation, and growth.

Perfection is seen through those things within a marriage and a relationship because they help perfection to express the beauty of the elevation and enrichment that both the husband and his wife come into while expressing life through their intimate builds and while building life together as one beautiful kingdom structure. Shalom

This is true, because it takes a LIFETIME to learn someone due to change and emotions along the way, so it's impossible to "perfect" someone that you will Never fully know. But the point of a relationship is to simply RELATE on goals and standards and values and opinions and discipline and financial growth, it's not to perfect.
