I bought the exact same shoe in the UK (Black/45EU/Standard Width) 2 weeks ago. No removable insole, the templates are 100% accurate to the eye and build quality feels solid. No problems, love riding in them.

I was wondering if you heat moulded the shoes? The only reason they are worth more then other shoes is because you can stick them in the oven and have them moulded to your foot. Check out their website for a tutorial.

They are hand made in Australia hence the shoddy craftsmanship. The soles are heat mouldable too, did you mould yours?

I just tried them on finally at a distributor. I have a vaypor s reflex and a helix coming I think I'll most likely end up with the helix although I gather the vaypor is more popular in the community. The helix fit like a xero or an altra shoe in the double wide without heat molding . Most comfortable cycling shoe I've ever put on my foot! Almost perfect . in the short time I wore it it did the comfortable enough to forget thing.

Emailed the Bont factory last night and got a reply first thing this morning if Bonts were vegan. Good news they are! They use microfibre, carbon fibre, memory foam and their own material called durolite.

What kind of cleat attachments did you get for them? I just bought my first pair of Bont Riots and the SPD attachment was too small and did not fit the bottom of the shoe.

strange how you say the S-Works shoes are quite narrow as i found they're the only ones to fit my wide feet. somehow i missed the Bont brand and maybe i'll give them a try but i know for certain im unable to go back to shimano. thanks for the mini review - even if these may've been fakes lol

I need some cycling shoes and pedals! I would like mountain bike shoes so I can walk in them and pedals that have a flat part so I can wear regular shoes... other than that I am clueless about clipless. heh

The sizing is European size and that will be the inside of the shoe side

I ride with sidi mtb shoes and the toe box is smalll. It's pretty uncomfortable but the sole is really stiff and I like the strap design.
