I used the Bont sizing wizard and it says I am a Euro 44. I have never been a 44 before, have I been wearing the wrong size my whole life?

On the market for a new pair, Vaypor S or Helix?

I got a pair of Bont Vaypor S, and sadly it didn't work for me. My big toe kept getting pushed inwards, and it was incredibly uncomfortable. As with everything you wear, it is very individual. Specialized and Shimano shoes work well for me.

I agree with your take on cleat position. I have mine back as far as it will go and feel it puts me in a more powerful pedaling position. I love white shoes, but only until the first ride in the rain. So I have black shoes and add custom laser cut reflective decals to capture some marginal improvement in bling factor. Merci for a nice video.

I got the semi-custom Vaypor S so I could get mid-foot cleat position which has benefits for ultra endurance. I am really happy with them and feel it is top notch product. They take a while to get used to as they are very stiff. But now that I am used to them they really work well.

When you got your shoes made and they asked weather you want extra length and width, did you add extra room or did you make the shoe based soley off your cast ? :)

Did you know, before Bont produced cycling shoes. Bont originally made one of first carbon fiber boots for Short Track speed skates?
And through my publication "Speedskating Times" convinced Bont to produce boots for inline speed skaters.
I feel like a proud father as the company continues to break open new roads.
