Thank you, professor Ben-Yaakov. Perfectly clear.

the first Video I saw about the almost forgotten and not well documented Vienna rectifier, absolutely stellar.

It was so intuitive I figured it out as the video progressed before you got to explain it! Another great video, much appreciated!

Thanks a lot, for sharing this! It is easier for most people to understand 1 phase circuits. You have successfully boiled it down to simple convepts.

Really clear and straightforward explanation. Thank you for sharing this, I am working on my thesis which is related to this topology. The PFC series really save my life as your many other video series. Looking forward to the following video!

Intuitive and simplifying explanation of the tricky and seemingly complex Vienna rectifier. Thank you so much Prof. Yaakov for this presentation

Another nice video. I wasn't familiar with the alternative circuit at 9:52 using a bridge rectifier for preventing conduction through a MOSFET's body diode before I saw this!

Prof Yaakov, the configuration described at 9:40 is drawn with a backwards FET, conducting in both instances.

Wow what a superinteressting circuit! But i had bever understand it without this explaination. (Yes i finally have a new phone. Or in fact its an older one that i especially bought so i again can leave comments here. Because i missed the last riddle that i found an especially nice one and not be able to leave comments that moment i saw that may not happen again. Because, where on the whole world you van find electronic riddles?! Ánd the most interesting deeper level explainations and really surprising insights! Btw, this big pointer makes your words even more clear than the red coloured pen in the video before this one. While that looked great i find this moving pointer almost as if i see where you look while explaining and i find that a really extra plus to understand everything more direct. As if we see your hands moving while talking, or something like that. Thank you, again and even extra for those last ones, thanks so much for making these superinteresting and supergood to follow videolessons!!

Thanks for the Great Video,

The question is why Bridgeless bipolar APFC, that is a single phase of Vienna rectifier, is not popular and not being used for single phase PFC? I appreciate your answer in advance.

Many thanks for the nice presentation and explanations. Please, on slide 24 it seems that transistors in BD Switch are driven together - one control signal, however in slide 25 there are two control signals Si+ and Si- ?

Hi Prof. Yaakov, very nice explanation. Is it a mistake of the symbol on the right hand side at 8:53? looks like the structure is always conducting.

it would be very nice to explain the SVPWM applied on the vienna as it is extreamly important especially useful for 800V super chargers.

Thank you! im searching for knowledge about Vienna rectifier for my seminar, yr video is great and clear! But I think u can give us some references to make it easier to find the papers u mentioned.

Thankyou Prof. for making this easy to begin with 🙏. Still trying to understand Gate pulses pattern with sinusoidal input any literature suggestion for this topology ??

Why should the voltage on both the capacitors be kept equal? I understand that an imbalance on the voltage levels of the two capacitors causes an increase in the THD, but I don't understand how that happens?

i will try 2 lane ( 2phase) version look like nice rectifier to me for HF and high power aplication.. logick give us quote: more diodes = more voltage shortage but... there we go.. phase shift.
