For anyone looking to go overkill with this, equip the following curios: Golden Carp, Goldflora Hairpin, and the Celestial Registry Tablet. Happy farming!

For those wanting to max it out and shave a few seconds off each run: Put pilgrim gear on so you have faster sprint. Invest point into cloud step so that you move faster in cloud step. Bind the "Incense Trail Talisman" to one of your pill buttons (I chose RT + Up). From the shrine, cloud step in the direction of the cave, sprint rest of way until you are in the middle. Being in cloud step form means none of the spiders will see you so they wont slow you down trying to make your way into the middle. Then transform and explode, then warp back to shrine using the incense trail talisman that you binded to your pill button. You will get all of the will, there's no need to wait for the will points to stop accumulating on the UI, the same amount will be there when you reset at the shrine.

Also, I turned my graphics settings to the absolute lowest setting you can to help load times when teleporting back to shrine.

There is 3 curios for farming as well - will increase, exp increase, item discovery increase. I recommend equipping them while farming

For anyone having trouble you have to put all your skill points into the ashen lumber transformation attack and into transformation attack is slightly increased at each level

I finally achieved the max level. I grind for 2 and a half days to maximize my level and will farming on this area. And this is my first run too. Now, I just started the Chapter 5.

If you want to make the process faster. Choose your spirit as “earth-wolf” and select the cloud step option. So while going you use cloud step for faster sprint and use your earth wolf to get back to the shrine to rest. It will save atleast 4-5 seconds more. 🎉

Nice farm! Played around with the setup and was able to get ~3, 400 a run in ~25 seconds:

- Equip the Folk Opera gear set if you have it which moderately increases Will gain
- Spirit: Latern Holder which moderately increases Will gain
- Curio Slot: Goldflora Hairpin which slight increases Will gain
- Curio Slot: Celestial Registry Tablet which slightly increases Experience gain

If you have the 3rd Curio slot

- Curio slot: Wind Chime for faster movement speed

I’m not sure if anyone else has added to it but if you throw on the opera folk armor too it increase your will you receive and also if you have the lantern carrier equipped too it boosts your will also there is a few other items to throw on that will increase will as well I have been able to get 3k-3300 per run so it’s be very effective.

friendly tip: use the opera folk outset + lantern holder spirit... this will boost the number of wills gained from each explosion from average 2500 to 3100! you're welcome

The video was very informative of how to unlock this method. So thank you for that.

However, not entirely sure why you're running back. As well as waiting for the XP drops to stop. The experience is instant. You can set your incense trail talisman to a quick slot, and teleport back the moment you explode. Saves a significant amount of time.

You can also spawn in, Cloud Step dash to where you need to be. Explode, then warp back with Talisman.
