Garsh! Sha-zam! Gall-lee!

In a powerful, contradictory voice from Gomer Pyle's exaggerated Southern accent, Jim Nabors sings "The Impossible Dream" during the Alabama Music Hall of Fame's Induction Ceremony on March 3, 2001.

I always knew he had a magnificent voice; it's too bad that Jim never could make time for proper training - you can see that he keeps these pro musicians jumping, and it's not his fault - pro singers spend much of their lifetimes LISTENING to other singers "working, " to familiarize themselves with the phrasing of songs they might sing someday. On simpler and more familiar material, Nabors could almost stop your heart with his singing.
Thanks for sharing this special material.
