Internationally known entertainer and Honorary Marine Corporal Jim Nabors (aka "Gomer Pyle") performing "Silent Night" with the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific Band at the 2nd Annual Na Mele o na Keiki (Music for the Children) Holiday Concert Dec 9th, 2009 at the Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall, Honolulu, HI. This concert was an opportunity for the audience to support the Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots Hawaii program and enjoy a free evening of great music. The concert was presented by U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific and BAE Systems, a worldwide partner with the USO. My entire family grew up being huge Jim Nabors fans in the 60’s, 70’s, & still to this day.
We got to enjoy one of the best entertainers & human beings of all time, in real time, before they were “re-runs”! 😂
