good night, thank you for the very great video. I would just like to highlight one issue. the problem that was mentioned in the video is not something exclusive only to the "clone", I have been using icon next original actia for some years and I had a problem with it identical to the one mentioned in the video, I contacted the company that provided me with a new one for not to be able to define a cause for the problem, an update was made, remote connection, I had to call a company to check the network system, cabling and nothing. finally they sent me another one and the problem is over, quite simple like the video, I can tell you from experience that both have the same defect. don't get me wrong i'm not criticizing the video, i'm just adding a real experience with the equipment.

Appreciate your vids, going off topic from this vid though can you give me an idea why the little button that has an "A" with a circle around it with an arrow on one end that also has "off" next to it doesn't seem to do anything?? I think it's the automatic cut off when the car is idling

Which Software are you using? BMW AOS or 3rd party?
Also the 4 lights you get when plugging it in. Is this briefly or permanent? I am using Genuine BMW ICOM Next A but the 4 lights go out just after plugging into OBD then just left with System light flashing. When ethernet cable goes in the LAN light shows.

hi. my istap works with icomm next but nothing else connects. ive just swapped from chinese vxdiag icom which works, . now i purchased an orig icom ethernet one and it only works with ista p . programs fine aswell.
comm light lan and system lights on. no luck with the regular ista d or inpa nor coding tools which i normally use without a problem.
any ideas whats going on? cheers if you can help a diy Aussie.
