Thanks for your video. I bought an adapter like the one you used. Works flawlessly. One question, however. Why was it possible to read an E90 Bj 2009 and an F36 Bj 2016 in the same position in the left position? And with the right position it was possible to read a 2014 Z5?

Awesome video! Helped me get set up and communicate with a couple e90’s. Any advice for an e70 X5M that has power at the obd all fuses are fine but I get a no communication with ecu in ista and inpa ifh-0009 error?

Until 2007 BMW used K Line and from 2007 it used DCAN Line. You need to specify this, the E90 is from 2005 but also from 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, in 2005 you use K Line and in 2010 you use DCAN Line because from 2007 it switched to DCAN Line

Hi man - great video, lots of info thanks. I'm looking for the right cable / tool for a 2014 Z4 (E89) - does the DCAN cable and INPA work for me? I need to be able to run full detailed diagnostics and (ideally) command the boot opening, roof closure, etc).
