If Padme Survived: Star Wars Rethink

Padme's death marked Darth Vaders full commitment to the dark side but what would happen if Padme survived, In this episode I go over the two most likely scenarios for this!

I think you could have done that theory if Padme survived child birth in general and didn't manage to get Anakin over to her side; what I'm trying to talk about is Padme helping out with the rebellion after Luke and Leia are born and stuff

I think Padmé should have survived Revenge of the Sith instead of dying from the broken heart.If you look at Return of the Jedi, Leia remembers he mother just a little and remembers that she was sad, so when we see the third prequel movie this makes no sense. For the sake of continuity, i would have left Padmé alive and have her raise Leia with Bail Organa and his wife, and few years later she would die of unknown reasons

What if Anakin left before Padme and Obi Wan arrived?
Let's say there's a traffic jam around coruscant or whatever, and Anakin is long gone when Padme lands on mustafar. Padme doesn't die, Anakin doesn't burn. Anakin's mission was to deal with the separatists, so he would return to palpatine having proven himself

Here an idea for a what if. What if Anakin married someone else? Someone who maybe was into the same things he was, someone who he would form an actual deep trusting relationship with you know understand what he's going through, Or most importantly some one who'd make him get the help he needs. I'm not try to a dick about this, I honestly believe that if he had had a better girlfriend it may have made things play out differently.

Anakin only found out that Padme died after his mechanical transformation. And Palpatine probably would've told him that she was dead either way, which would likely lead to Palpatine having to have her assassinated (since that's easier than keeping Vader away from the senate and all news of it), but keep Luke and Leia, probably raising them in the dark side, to eventually replace vader.

In your first scenario he doesn't even have to win outright, because if that happened then Padme might gun Obi-Wan down (when he's in a blade lock with Anakin, so that he can't block/deflect shots!) or at least wound him enough so that Anakin has the upper hand even more and no "high ground" trickery (playing on Anakin's overconfidence, because that was what led him to jump, it's not like he couldn't have done something else, like barelling straight into Obi-Wan swinging his lightsaber like Palapatine did with the Jedi that tried to arrest him!)

The way I see it, for Anakin and Padme to have their happily ever after ending, Anakin would have to return to Palpatine (pretending to still be loyal to him) and Padme would have to return to the Senate.

Anakin and Obi Wan would then have to assassinate Palpatine and lay low for a while Padme tries to rally support in the Senate and put herself in power.

After that, Padme can call of Order 66, disband the Empire and rule the Republic as husband and wife.

What if the Republic won the war against the Separatists but the difference being that General Grievous assassinates Chancellor Palpatine instead of kidnapping him?

Padme needs to die for Anakin to go into the rage he does in the later movies, so i bet no matter what the emperor would've found a way to kill Padme and make it look like an accident or something. It would be impossible for her to stay alive while Palpatine is still in this picture

Actually, what keeps him in the Dark Side is actually that he didn't like killing younglings. He hated it, but he was blinded by love for Padme.

I don't think either scenario would work truthfully. Both involve outsmarting the Emperor, a man who single handedly created the Empire and overthrew the Republic and the Jedi. To deceive the master of deception, Which I find very hard to imagine.

The Topic is "IF Padamé Survived", hence there could be a Third Scenario where everything else plays out as it should, but she doesn't Die. My best Theory is what Darth Plagueis may have taught Darth Sidious which kept Darth Vader alive long enough for the 'procedure' to save his life... What IF the Reason that Padamé Lives is because Palpatine didn't need to use that Force Power/Ability?
