Let me fix:
Padme lives, then Obi-Wan tells her Anakin is dead. Why? Because he thinks Anakin is dead, because the last time he saw him, he was on fire, limbs cut off, and falling into lava. He doesn't know Vader is alive until ten years later.

Padme mourns him but instead of dying of bullshit in a very unPadme like way, she stays strong because she's got two babies to look after. Now, Bail Organa will give Padme refuge from the Empire. She, and her children are hidden on Alderaan. I don't think Padme would want her kids to be raised on Tattooine especially considering Anakin's history there.
Obi-Wan would hide himself in the mountains of Alderaan, nearby always to help Padme. I think Padme would be hesitant to let Obi-Wan train them and she would desire to return to Naboo, however, she would know that the Empire may find them there and she worried what would happen if Palpatine got her children. They would fake her death to protect her as well.
Then, rumors about a sith apprentice would reach their ears, and Padme would learn of Darth Vader. She would find Obi-Wan, and confront him in anger telling him that she thought Anakin was dead. She would know Vader and Anakin were the same person because Obi-Wan would tell her what happened.
Next, Padme would want to confront Vader. She would find what he's done horrible, and even fear him.
However, she would contact him because she would need to see this for herself. She would travel to Coruscant, and find Darth Vader.
Vader would be shocked. He would think a ghost was visiting him, but once she confirms that she is real, Vader demands explanation as he's overcome with both rage, and relief upon seeing his wife alive.
He asks about the baby, and Padme tells him that she survives the birth, that the twins are alive and well. That he has a son and a daughter. Padme asks how her survived, as Obi-Wan told her he was dead. Vader asks what she knows of Obi-Wan and Padme tells him he's been watching over her and the twins, protecting them from the Empire.
Vader is torn at this news, as he is both overjoyed and filled with rage at both Obi-Wan and Palpatine.
Then, Padme takes a moment to tell Vader she will forgive him. Vader goes to Alderaan with Padme to see his children, who are probably around one or two years old. Anakin is overjoyed, and interacts with the children who are scared of him at first, sensing his energy.
Leia is the first one to accept him, as she is the bolder of the two.
Obi-Wan appears, and Vader is enraged, however, this causes both of his children to start crying in fear, making Vader pause.
He catches a glimpse of himself in the reflection of their eyes, and Padme who holds them close, he realizes he cannot kill Obi-Wan, at least not in front of his family. He demands Obi-Wan leave. Padme tells Vader not to kill Obi-Wan, because without his help, Anakin can't hope to defeat Palpatine.
The work together to bring down the Empire, and they are successful, and Padme and Organa work on rebuilding the Republic while Obi-Wan and Anakin deal with Paplatine. Palpatine would be defeated, especially as Yoda arrives as reinforcements.
Obi-Wan starts to rebuilt the Jedi Order, and Anakin, before returning to his family, gets his suit rebuilt to be less battle like, and scary, and more friendly, and he and Padme work together. He is no longer a Jedi and for his crimes he is placed in exile on Naboo, never allowed to leave the planet.

In all honesty the ending was a little rushed. Couldve expanded more and talk about Jedi order reforms alomg with qui gons ghost. Still i will admit, very enjoyable fan fic

The republic methods would make anakin look nearly as close as the body of anakin skywalker.

Wasn’t Vader weak at this point? For one thing, he just barely survived his previous duel with Kenobi. More importantly, he had not adjusted to his new suit and cybernetics yet, not even close. At this point in time, Vader was not a strong duelist. Shortly thereafter in the original timeline, nearly defeated by Jedi weaker than Kenobi, Vader was.
