Should have fit in an Intel CPU to succeed the Pro 6. Surface Pro hasn't seen a major refresh in years now

You never mentioned the LTE capability which is the MAIN REASON people is buying the Pro X (Including me), you can do everything but Graphic design or video editing with it, and you can be connected all the time and anywhere with LTE.

For my use cases, the Surface Pro X would be a good computer for me. I can't use a Chromebook because there is no good, optimized version of most apps, especially Microsoft Office, available on ChromeOS which is what I need. A MacBook Air and/or iPad work well for me, but they are rather rather expensive when put together. My MacBook Air and iPad Pro combo costed $1500 combined. The Surface Pro X would have been a great option to replace both, but the fact its more expensive than my MacBook Air/iPad Pro is ridiculous. In my opinion, Microsoft should have priced this Surface Pro X at around the $700 range, or at least include the type cover and pen with it at a price of $1000. Still, I am looking forward to the future of Windows on ARM. Once it gains traction, I may switch back to Windows

not for video editing and photoshop? Ipad pro has lumafusion and affinity photo. I have recently ditched my macbook for a i7 windows laptop with mid level GPU, happy with the windows but for tablet, ipad pro is still the way to go

Dude idk if this is ok to bring up but man, I miss the old stuff you used to to. BTD was so much fun back in the day, the dea discord was fun as hell too. Actually what even happened to Blaze It?

A. Nobody wants an iPad or MacBook if they are looking for a Windows machine. I have this machine and it's not lacking, it's a great device for what it's made to do. It just needs the app support to make them arm compatible and they will run just as good as the other X86 apps.

Great Video. Was looking into this, but my Surface Go can still run things better than this.

You definitely deserve more subs, cheers

It just needs photoshop, thinner bezel! And personally for me Sims 4 🤔

iPad Pro is better tablet and Surface Laptop is a better laptop, how unexpected... You could probably have mentioned that this is a better tablet than the Surface laptop (obviously) and a better office productivity device than the iPad Pro (desktop browser, file system, keyboard+trackpad, desktop office programs).

It sounds like you reviewed this device for you but not for all the potential consumers. You haven't even talk about the LTE capabilities.

It's funny how most YouTubers disregard this device because it can't run Photoshop well and Premier Pro, when most people don't use those.

It's a much better office productivity machine than the iPad Pro, but it's not just office, you can even do web development with this thing, you can even install WSL (linux subsystem) and do ssh into servers and what not.

With all the available web based apps/tools available and more coming with the rise of PWAs (Progressive Web Apps), and new ARM programs coming all the time, these ARM devices are looking better week by week. Even videgames with GeForce Now, Stadia and the likes will allow some AAA gaming on this thing.

Also, I would've expected for a tech enthusiast to try the new Edge browser, which is the best optimised browser for this device at the moment. You haven't said anything about the browser, I can just see Firefox (my favourite browser) installed, but Firefox has ARM build only in the Beta version and doesn't even support PWAs in desktop...something new Edge does extremely well.

With browser based and native apps, this CPU is as powerful as an i5 8th gen U processor, while not needing fan to cool it down and having better efficiency. The browser alone covers most people's needs: Netflix, Prime Video, HBO, Twitch, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Spotify, YouTube, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Teams, To-Do, Google web services, Email clients, Wikipedia, Amazon, Ebay, news sites, Pornhub, XVideos, Discord, Udemy, Duolingo, Telegram/Whatsapp...plus all the ARM 32 and 64bits apps, x86 apps in emulation, Electron apps like VS Code, etc.

A device with proper mouse support, proper external monitor support, 2 USB Type-C apart from the Surface port to connect devices, proper keyboard with trackpad, and a proper desktop OS and desktop browser for productivity (with their own prons and cons). It's just a much better machine than the iPad Pro for many people (and worse for many others). And the possibility of LTE, proper tablet form factor with pen storage and very lightweight, makes it a much better tablet than a Surface Laptop or Macbook Air (they can't be a tablet at all), Macbook Air doesn't even have touchscreen, let's not talk about pen support.

I think they were hoping that the developers would start making programs or at least optimizing games he existing ones for Windows ARM. There's a lot of potential in it, but I guess they just don't care.
I mean, you can run some programs made for ARM that are pretty close to desktop programs even on pretty mid range hardware. Here you have hardware leagues ahead of the competition, but it tries to run full desktop software, which it isn't optimized to do.
Not worth it right now. Hope it will at least change by next year.

Garbage. I have Pro X and I didn't regret upgrading from Surface Go LTE. Tools are made for specific purposes, you should not use them to work for what they weren't designed for, you will find negatives. It's like buying a Mercedes Benz sedan and putting it do off-roading.

This is like a worse Chromebook.
I'm not sure what they were going for with this one. Very nice design, though. Like you said, you'd be better off buying an iPad Pro.

Biggest problem is that it’s 32 bit so 64 bit programs don’t work

No this is a joke
The arm processor is not as powerful as the pro 7 and Ipad
The UWP apps are not Optimized and few of them available
The battery suck
The price is a meme (but not a goodone)

Some fanboy say
This is for enterprise people
Then I'm pretty sure that's a boring enterprise and eat Microsoft money for a living
