Thanks for this tutorial! Localization is important because on steam there is often default preset that hides games which are not in your language. So localization of your game and your steam page is very important if you want sales.

Great video!! Quick question: I've always found it easier to have spreadsheets can be converted to google sheets so it's easier to do localization with more people/volunteers working together. The workflow is export the binary datasheet, convert it to xls, edit online, download, convert and then reimport.

Is there any advantage on using the system you suggested here (unity's built in)? Thank you

Dude. Thank you so much. I didn't notice that I hadn't changed the release date of my demo. I found out it was coming out literally the day before. At night. I had to release an old demo from a year ago, which is just awful! I worked on a new build for two days, and when I released it, it turned out... That my English localization didn't work.
And based on YOUR VIDEO, I completely switched to Unity localization in a DAY with a full translation of all the game text for every event and every dialogue, and now everything works.
By the way, the game is called Shadow Pulse, if you're interested.
My brain has been officially cooked for the last week☠
