Nice video, when is the 100 amper coming out?

We know that there are now LFP batteries available for automotive starting purposes.

But between AGM and LFP battery, which has a better cranking performance? And which would provide more instantaneous peak surge current?

Under identical conditions, where all other factors being equal

3:18 depths of discharge affect both AGM and lithium the same amount.

For AGM most people that don't use it every day it will die of old age before you run out of life cycle at 100%

This 50% rule create so much issues in 12v group people go from 200ah AGM then 100ah lithium then have power issues as they no longer have the 50% emergency backup power. You should always replace same ah rating when going from AGM to lithium or more

I have a 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid. that has no starter motor. The battery is only for supplying the low current 12V system.
When my 5 year old OEM Toyota 12V 56ah lead aced AGM battery gets much older, I am thinking of replacing it with a 12V 50ah lithium battery.that sells for about $100
I can't find any videos on this.
What do you think?

Lithium batteries also burns a hell of a lot better too. I bought an expensive one for my Saab 9-5 2.3 Aero. The battery started burning while the car was off, and the battery manufacturer refused to pay for damages caused by the battery.

Here is the list of all the damages that was caused:

Seats and upholstery
Dashboard and electronics
Roof lining
Wiring harness
Plastic interior components
Interior contamination (smoke and toxic fumes)
Electrical system (short circuits)
Main battery system
Engine compartment
Transmission
Airbag sensors and deployment systems
Braking system (brake lines and ABS components)
Frame and chassis

The reason they refuse to pay is because there is no proof that a trained technician installed the battery. I had NAF pull the car to a SAAB mechanic to get a cost, and they sent me a mail saying there are damages at around $38'000 - $41'000. (Almost twice MSRP for the car brand new)

The case is still ongoing.

This is a curly one! My battery box voltage meter read 12.8v today but I decided to double check with my multi meter & it read 12.6v!!! WT??? Yep, it was on the right setting too. Any ideas 😮

Perhaps you could make them safe enough for under bonnet use.

ok, how much amperage can be pulled from a lithium battery before it overheats and bursts into flames?

I currently have x2 120mh AGM kickass batteries in my car setup. Can I just swap them out with 2 slimline 120 lithiums? The DC2DC charger and inverter I have are already lithium compatible and wanted to know if this would work in parallel....

My 2015 Hiace needs a new starter battery. Should I go with a regular 12v lead acid or get a lithium?

Will zero-degree temperature damage a Lithium Battery?

Most of lithium batteries you have designed you can’t parcelled.
Most current campers and caravans have dual batteries and are chassis mounted externally. Your missing out on large sector of the industry your trying to support. Any plans for 135 - 150Ah in 125Ah case that is IP65+ and can be paralleled?
There is only a few manufactures which support this type of battery.

I'd like to switch to Lith, we will see. Reputable the word that would sell me, like Kick-Ass {but I'm biased}

""When one Tesla catches fire the hole world knows about it while petrol cars catch on fire every day"", well sayed .
How ever you didn't mentioned the ""Termal Runaway"" of these litium battery's when the chemistry keeps on burning and even gives of explosive gas .
I am not exactly sure what is the main culprint, the BMS that is malfunction or that the chemistry is heating up despit the BMS .
What i am sure about is that some things that are more and more unfolding like a Geo Induced Current (GIC ) will effect these lithium battery's with uncontrollable fires .
Despite al the good futures about the litium battery's i choose likely an AGM kind of battery despite the disadvantages, saftey is better then sorry because i seen the burned down garages and houses because of these lithium battery's .

Another fantastic video and lol at the person in the comments who's saying they don't want a product with ASS printed on it. 🤣

What is it with Australian companies and their love of their brand? KickAss and Patriot Campers look like branding companies that sell a few products. I see seven logos in the above video. Not sure I even want the word ASS on my gear!
