How do you hold your torch during your root pass? Do you use a TIG finger and prop or just go free hand?

7018 Cap is Slick tho. I’ve been tigging alot where I’m at now. Sort of lost my stick muscle memories by now. But that was my bread and butter when I first broke out. Good stuff hand keep it up.

Take then off if test, sorry mate that is bad advice as that will cause a FAIL in most codes. Better advice learn not to make them, full stop.
