Pancreatic cancer is a deadly disease that often goes undetected until it’s too late. In this video, we tell the harrowing story of George, a math major who ignored two warning signs of pancreatic cancer. We discuss risk factors for pancreatic cancer, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, and tobacco use. We also share warning signs to look out for, such as an upset stomach, weight loss, and decreased appetite. Early detection is key to treating pancreatic cancer, as it can increase the chances of survival. We highlight the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet and regular exercise, to reduce your risk of developing this devastating disease. We also discuss treatment options, such as chemotherapy and GLP-1 agonist medications such as Ozempic and Mounjaro.

My mom came down with pancreatic cancer in 1999. She had absolutely no symptoms until she went to the doctor for a checkup. The bile later was the only symptom.
We finally found the right pancreatic oncologist and after a 9 hour surgery we were blessed to have mom for 12 years more. She was written up in the medical journals as a miracle, prayers do work

My cousin was diagnosed on October 5 with Pancreatic Cancer right after her 60th birthday. She died November 3 less than a month later. Her mother died from the same cancer in 2018. May they both rest in eternal peace.

This video made my heart sink. A YouTuber I follow named Brian Barczyk has pancreatic cancer and the tumor is inoperable. 💔 He just had his first round of aggressive chemo yesterday. He is such a special person and it's truly heartbreaking that his life expectancy is so grim. Please say prayers for a miracle for Brian! 🙏

Sadly, my mother was misdiagnosed, and lived for 7 yrs with pancreatic cancer..it was too late, by the time she got a proper diagnosis…as the specialist told her 6 months before she passed …” I have good news and bad news….the bad news ..it is pancreatic cancer…
The good news… if I had of seen you then, I never would have given you 7 yrs to live”

Sadly my mother had been a heavy smoker till her late 30’s, but was never over weight, and always ate healthy ( but as she grew up during the depression, that wasn’t in her favour…and heart condition her whole life)
But succumbed to the cancer at 78 yrs young.

My father in law passed away from pancreatic cancer and his first symptom was having progressively worse hiccups all the time. He never drank or smoked, was an ideal weight, his diet was good… basically the picture of health at 85. He was diagnosed in November and passed in January. He chose only palliative care.

My father at age 74 had quit smoking 25 years earlier, drank 1 glass of wine a day, walked the dog daily for 2 hours, worked in his and other peoples gardens and was thin, sometimes too thin, all his life. He didn't feel well for a while "feverish" as he would call it, and finally went to a doctor. The doctor sent him to physiotherapy 🤪. There they were surprised about his good condition and wanted to give him even harder exercises. My father felt really bad afterwards, had a lot of pain and refused to return. Less than a month later he went yellow. Now the miracle doctor acknowledged there was something really wrong. The cancer was inoperable. 3 mnds later my dad died. So much for seeing a doctor.

My Sister died from this. She chose not to pursue chemotherapy as it had already spread and was stage 4. Danced at my wedding in October, diagnosed in December, passed away in February. Really awful painful cancer. She was fit, never over weight, worked out regularly and was vegetarian.

We all need to take our health seriously in younger years. It will better our odds during our later years.

My old man was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in February. His symptoms were back pain, stomach feeling full all the time, and excessive weight loss. He used to drink in his younger days but ever since I can remember I've never seen him drink or smoke. I'm in my late 30s and he's 68. A day before he was supposed to start chemo he started vomiting and couldn't stop. Now he's in hospice care.😞

So, those of us with Crohn's/ IBS are pretty much out of luck on the "early diagnosis" symptoms, as we have those same symptoms almost all the time. Yay.

My now ex-wife and I took a young Chinese student into our home for hospice care as he died from this disease. Never drank, never smoked. Always had what we would consider a healthy diet. He was overweight though. By the time he was diagnosed there really wasn't much that could be done for him. He eventually developed multiple organ failure and passed. For some reason there is very high incidence of this disease in people who lived in the area of China that he came from. He was a brave young man dying from a horrible disease in a foreign country.

My grandfather died of pancreatic cancer a couple years after I was born, and my ex's grandfather died of the same thing a couple years ago. It really doesn't give most people any time at all. Thanks for making this video.

My wife started having back pains in February. Pain spread to front of stomach. Went to the doctor and they said it was due
to sprain muscle. They prescribed muscle relaxers. That didn't help next they said she needed to go to the physical therapist.
That didn't do any good. Finally a CA 19-9 test was done 5 months later. The test came back positive for pancreas and liver
cancer. When I asked why a CA 19-9 test was not done when she first complained of back pains they blamed the medical
insurance company. They said the insurance companies want simple solutions first. That is unacceptable! Why are they
like that?!?!
