I have a 2023 hybrid XLE. Press the unlock button 1st, like she did, then press the lock 3x. Hold on the 3rd until you see the lights flicker a few times, then let go. It should turn on in a few seconds. Not instantly.

This is genius. You need to start 10 feet away to Remote start your car. Toyota stupid design defeats, the whole purpose of remote start. Plus it’s a paid service.
