Why 1khz, you won’t notice any significant room modes at that frequency, your better doing like 40-150 or 200hz that’s when you’ll actually hear the modes. (Or just use a room mode calulator or if you want to get really technical about it, get a referr nice mic and room eq wizard, measure the response in your room at different point (especially the sweet spot) and then you can work out, from what frequencies are being boosted or cut what walls and corners are the biggest offenders
