Man I’ve been wondering how to do this for the past couple weeks as I’m setting up my home studio, and here it is in my subscription box in less than a minute! Love the content, would you have any absorption panel sets you’d recommend?

Some people recommend using diffusers on the first reflection. And just don’t fill your room with absorption panels. Be sure and use diffusers too or you end up with a dead sounding room.

Hey Kyle! I'm a bit off topic but I'd love to see tutorial on how to calibrate the room with measurment mic. Also, perhaps you can recommend any measurment mics yourself, since I've heard they all use the same capsule but differ by noise level and interfaces. So is it worth spending more money or just go with any?

Hi! I'm using a Bipolar speakers with a built in subwoofer for my hometheater. Do I still need to use acoustic panels since Bipolar speaker needs bare wall to reflect it sound? And if I need what acoustic panels I will benefit more? My plan is to use only bass traps on corners for not to affect the reflection point. Please help thank you in advance.

Want to eliminate the room? Headphones! Cheaper, more linear and accurate, so why don’t people take that option? Because our auditory system has evolved over hundreds of thousands of years to easily differentiate between direct and reflected sound. Sort the shit from the shine! When did you last travel in a car equipped with a flagship stereo system. Did you see any bass traps, defusers, absorption panels? When did you last attend a service in a cathedral? I bet that pipe organ sounded phenomenal. Again, no bass traps Etc. Unless you include the cassocks?
