Ahh where is New Zealand on the map! Don't tell me the rising sea levels have sunk it, without me knowing!

I think it would be great if you guys did an update on this video, just to show how things are different (better or worse) today. Keep up the good work, I love Vox

Really sad to know that many developed countries like the US pressurize other developing countries to lower the CO2 emissions even though they r one of the biggest emitters of CO2. They cant compromise on vehicles and air conditionings but they want poor countries to compromise on electricity productions.

The fact that the countries which are most vulnerable to to climate change are often some of the lowest carbon emitter 😭😭😭😭
Well I am from one those countries

I feel gross just thinking about how much more the air is polluted during the winter.

so let me get this straight, the measurement of "ppm" goes from 377 (blue) to deep red in about 9 measurements? That's an increase of about 2% throughout the entire cycle, reducing back to the lower end during the summer months. :/

in 2014 the temperature already rise to 1 celcius. In 2021 we already reach 1.2 celcius. Things went uglier than we expected

Thank you for creating/sharing. It indeed is a great visualization for something very ungraspable (for most of us).

This doesn't show CO2 from the oceans... skewed reporting.

You are doing a great job with these videos, really excellent visual presentation and great data mining - I was wondering if you could quote your sources as well on this particular piece of information - such as the forest clearing in Africa - thanks a lot for the great work !

Also point of correction: the audio derived from the news recording in the beginning is technically wrong about earth being at its warmest in its history. It is the warmest in the current Holocene interglacial that began at the end of the Pleistocene, about 11, 700 years ago. the earth has definitely been much much much hotter but beginning millions of years ago.

I tkink it's also interesting to note that the consumption of fossil fuels increase a lot in winter in the north hemisphere due to heating and ect..

Have they made these for subsequent years? Really would like to see some for 2014-present
