Recipes from today:
Hai's Spicy Noodles :
Samyang 2X Spicy Chicken and the recipe is
2 cups water
chicken boullion
buffalo spicy cheese
spam

boil 2 cups water
add chicken boullion to preffered taste
add the victim and cook till done
drain it, leave only a little bit of soup left
add the victims spicy sauce and cook till satisfied.
Add spam, (i cut it into slices), and add the cheese
let sit till cheese melts.
if spam is desired hot, then i just sear it so it's crispy and let the excess noodle heat do its job.

Libbeys Ramen Salad:
Ramen Topping:
-2 packs of crushed Sapporo Ichiban ramen
-1/4 cup unsalted butter
-1 1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds
-1/3 cup sesame seeds

Ramen Salad:
-3/4 of a green cabbage (shredded)
-1/2 of a red cabbage (shredded)
-1/2 cup shredded carrots
-1/2 bunch of sliced green onions

Dressing:
-1/3 cup oil
-2 tablespoons sesame oil
-1/4 cup rice vinegar
-1/4 cup sugar
-1 tsp soy sauce
-1 tablespoon grated ginger
-1/2 tsp ground pepper
-1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Directions:
1. Mix dressing ingredients and set aside
2. Melt butter and brown almonds
3. Add sesame seeds and toss until they become fragrant (don’t burn!)
4. Add ramen and toss. Set topping aside to cool.
5. Combine cabbage, green onion, ramen topping and dressing right before serving!

Salama's Half Spicy Noodles:
Samyang Spicy Chicken
water
labneh
Lime juice
Cook the noodles, drain most of the water, add half the spice pack, labneh and squeeze half a lime!

Martabak Mie
Boil up one pack of indomie half-cooked, and then after that we drain the water and mix the half-cooked noodles with an egg and a scallion or some of your favorite toppings, such as corned beef or even a sliced mushroom. Dont forget to add your packet of seasonings into the egg and noodle mixture.
After that you need a shallow pan, and heat up a little bit some cooking oil, after it's hot enough add you mixture and wait, flip it when the bottom part is golden brown. And make sure both sides are crispy and the inside is cooked.
Now your martabak mie is ready to be served, if you want a simple sauce to dip. You can mix some sriracha sauce and a sweet soy sauce with 1:1 ratio, you can also add a lil garlic to add some flavor to it.

Im indonesian i would recommend adding egg into the mix cuz the original martabak have eggs as the main thing
And adding eggs so it make it much thicker not dry and make the noodle less salty

Beryl asking why people do this to themselves, mere seconds after I'm asking out loud "Beryl, why are you doing this to yourself?! Why Beryl, why?!".

Libby’s salad is where I’d add the tuna to make a complete dish. That looks amazing.

When my girls were young I would have a tupperware in the fridge that I would put small amounts of leftovers, veggies and proteins. Once a week i would use Ramen with 1/2 sachet and all the leftover bits and pieces to make "Super Ramen"! The girls loved it!

I remember discovering indomie when I first moved to Nigeria it is so popular there that for years after moving back to the US I assumed it was a Nigerian product until I came across it at an Asian grocery store and had my mind blown lol

Martabak reminds me of an Indonesian take on Okonomiyaki! I wonder which came first. Not that it matters, because there's nothing I Love more than finding the connections between International dishes, which is why I Love this channel!

Food truly is our common denominator, and we are far more intertwined than we are separated, and most of us don't seem to realize it!

Thank all of y'all for sharing!

We are incontrovertibly in this together! 🤟🙌🙏🌍💗

Hey beryl, I wanna share my favourite ramen recipe!!, Its like a warm hug in Ingredients- Samyang Buldak 1x spicy ramen, white sauce (all purpose flour, butter, milk, oregano), parmesan or processed cheese, capsicum, onions, tomatoes, garlic and boiled Recipe- First boil your noodles and strain the excess water and keep it aside ; Now in a pan make your white sauce and keep the consistency perfect saucy (like not too thick or not too watery), ; Now in another pan add some oil, add your chhoped garlic in hot oil, saute garlic for 5-10 seconds, now add your chopped onions and chopped capsicum/ green bell pepper, saute both together for another 1-2 mnts on high flame, add some chopped tomatoes, cook till the tomatoes are soften, add a pinch of salt and pepper, add your boiled corns, give it a good mix for 30 seconds and switch off the Now in a bowl, add boiled noodles, add the seasoning sauce that came in the packet, add your white sauce, add the sauted vegetables and give them all a good mix!!;;;; Now top it up with cilantro and some cheese and microwave it for 1 Finallly enjoy!!!! (I know this recipe looks like a lots of hardwork, but trust me its really a warm hug in a winter evening) (my phone keypad has some issues that's why everything is so messed up, i was not able to use fullstops or the key to change the line, sorry🙂) I hope anyone who tries this recipe, feel a warm

I have been doing a variation of Anita’s ramen for years. Also using frozen veg and stock. I add fresh spinach or mushrooms, sometimes chicken or tofu, and top it off with a dash of hot sauce and green onion.

I have such a food crush on her--well more than that, it's her creativity and artistry and her support of artists--it's that sort of crush. I mean I'm glad she's in the world.

The ramen salad is something my mom has always made growing up! Making with cabbage is a great way to meal prep so it lasts a few days in the fridge
