I just bought mine from Lowes today. They had no idea of what I was talking about. Each store received 3 units. Only one store had them on display. They also didn’t know, just like I didn’t know that the track was a sold separately item @$100 and the saw @ $299. I would love it if Kreg made an 8’ track to be able to truly be able to cut down sheet goods. I can’t wait to put mine to work.

My question is sorta the same as others. With the single 62 inch track u can't cut to the end of the track!! Because the saw comes off the track before the chip strip is fully cut .So how would you line this up without the full length chip strip being cut?

In this video, you show trimming the anti-chip strip 7 or 8" up the track. When using the track to line up marks on a large sheet of plywood for a 55" or 60" cut, how do you accurately line up the anti-chip strip with your marks? Also, are there track clamps? Thanks in advance.

I was excited because Kreg makes awesome affordable tools. $900 puts it out of reach for most amateur woodworkers. Nice looking system though but it has been priced out of my budget for sure.

Hey Kreg, I just bought the Kreg Precision Router Table, Precision Router Lift, and built (2) Kreg assembly tables. A half dozen Bench Clamps, 2 inline clamps, Clamp Vise, 2 Corner Clamps a couple Project Clamps... I have 2 K2 Pocket Hole cutters and now you bring out the thing I finally caved in and bought from... well the over priced company.... As you can tell I am a serious Kreg Fan... I am going to get your track saw too.... for out on the jobsite. Planning a table saw anytime soon.... before I go buy one of them too???

So once you get the blade squared and the splinter guard and anti slip strip cut from then on you drop the splinter guard all the way to the board your cutting right? I just got my track saw in yesterday and will be using in this weekend!!

I have many Kreg tools and like them. I do wonder about why Kreg chose to place the blade on the left side since most people
have experience with a right sided blade. I actually think a left sided blade is better on a track saw once you "Re-learn" using one. It makes ergonomic since for a right handed operator and my guess is that this is why Kreg decided to do it. I already
own a Festool TS75 so I will not be in the market but I think they will sell many units.

You mentioned about replacing your blade on your saw with a finer tooth blade. I bought the Kreg plunge saw; does that need a better blade as well or is it good enough for fine plywood cuts?

Man am I glad I have not went the expensive company route. Now to get the much taller bench dogs. Please come out with the hole clamp bars! I asked in a comet will the saw work with the other Kreg guide rails

Is it ok to use 3/4 melamine for set up?

I am super excited to see Kreg has come out with this saw... of course I just bought a Festool Track Saw several weeks ago... and it was in excess of $1000 because I also bought the 110" track as well as the 55". I will buy a Kreg TS as soon as they are available to keep in the tool trailer for on the jobsite. No way am I taking the Festool on the road... it will never make it back.

Do you have to use plywood for that first cut?

Anybody else having issues with the saw burning every cut? I’ve adjusted toe angles, bevel angles, and speed! No matter what I do it burns the track side of my cut. So frustrating
