Omg! Just a tip to add about sea sickness. On my first cruise on Norwegian as soon as the boat started moving, I was out for the count. I had to take a nap. The Stateroom attendant stopped by and I swung open the door looking crazy. He asked if I was ok. I said “No…. I think I’m sick.” I had Seabands on & ginger candy and nothing worked. He came back with a Green Apple & said, “this should help.” It sure did! When I was feeling better, I noticed there were bowls of green apples around the ship dining areas. I was so grateful! So Green apples help with sea sickness! I’m praying they have them on my carnival cruise 😅

So we're going on our first cruise this April. I've been watching Cruise videos daily for the last two months to get as much insight, tips and advice for our trip. I have to give your videos a 100% thumbs up. Your videos, are by far, the most informative content on YouTube I've been able to view. You guys are great! I also am a travel agent. Been on about 52 cruises. Carnival is ok, but I love Celebrity cruises. I am a food goodie so Carnival of course is low on the list for great food. People also should know if you dont like what they charge for gratuities you can change the amount. All you do is go to guest services a day or two before the end of the cruise and they will take off how ever much you want, even the whole amount they will take off with no questions asked.
They add on 18% on all services which also is alot of extra money to pay. A massage is great, especially on a shore day they will have specials but once the gratuities are added you can have 3 massages back home for what you payed on the ship. Always remember you do not have to pay what they add on for a gratuity when it comes to spa services and others.You tell them you want it changed to what you want to pay for a tip.Check often your rates on line mine recently changed 4 times into better rates before final payment. Make sure you bring your Tylenol from home. I just payed $15.99 for a small bottle of 20, in their store, then the next day on their private Island it was for sale for $2.99 figure that out!

I also pack my SNACKs n allowed soda. I mix my 12pk. A few ginger ales n spite in case of upset stomach. Thn my favorite sodas n SNACKs. In case of quarantine or late ngt munchies u have something on hand

Speaking of shotty wi fi, download movies and shows just in case u are bedridden or simply wanna chill in the room for the day. That way no buffering every 2 minutes. 👍👍

I got sea sick in 1986 on a Canal boat ride in Amsterdam. To this day on every ship I board I carry Sea Bands, Dramamine, Ginger tea, and ginger candy. Never hurts to be prepared!

The latest trend is using luggage tags to make finding your luggage easier. This will not prevent luggage getting lost, so the split luggage tip should still be used. Luggage tags reduces the risk of luggage getting lost but does not prevent it all together.

Bring a small air freshener or something to keep the bathroom smelling nice especially when you have more than 2 people. Those rooms are small and it can start to stink very fast!!!
