Great upgrade! I own a 2014 Tundra (bought new) and within a year or ownership I did a similar upgrade, I was amazed at the difference in the sound quality for not a lot of money. It mystifies me that Toyota still uses such marginal drivers and amplifiers on their so called "premium" JBL systems, . When you take out the factory speakers and amp and compare the build quality to aftermarket you realize that paying extra for the premium system is not worth it.

I installed mine after watching your video. The sound improvement was definitely noticeable. I recorded db meter before and after at volume level 20 and 30 and the sound quality was improved across the entire broadband
