I've been there, done that! I said that to some kid the other day at a gas station. He had a blue wrx with coilovers, a spoiler, painted the mud flares matching blue, plus a cobb exhaust, that blue wrx looked and sounded exquisite!

100% on point! Did it for mine and it made all the difference. The plastic fender flares still aren’t perfect, but the wing plus gurney flap really starts to do the car justice.

Ill never understand the hate for the new WRX, sure it doesnt look as cool as the BRZ or Civic type r, but it definitely doesnt look or ugly. If anything its not even supposed to look like a street sport car because thats not what it's built for, its a rally platform through and through

I've always thought the wing is ugly. Glad mine doesn't have one. But I am 62 and it's plenty potent for me. Not going to do any mods either. I didn't buy a new car to void the warranty with mods. Even the Porsche 911 Turbo S doesn't have a wing on it.

I think the paint matched rear bumper looks nice.. I don't mind the wing, looks nice enough on it, not really my thing though.

The new WRX is a hard no for me. The taillights I can work with but the front end just irks the heck out of me. 😅

I love the new WRX. No brembo brakes, less HP, smaller turbo, stock suspension, no adjustable differential, no wing. Also it's about the same price. Definitely paying the same price for less performance. Lol
