I don't think you're right in saying IH is getting the most scrutiny. IH has only lost 1% of his subscribers in the two weeks since Hbomberguy's video came out. James Somerton lost 30% plus on his channel before he shut down everything. Somerton's career is toast. IH is quite likely to keep going.

Im shocked that you think that IH was the major social discussion after hbomb's video. I guess we follow different circles on youtube, because ive seen very little about IH. Meanwhile, Somerton's entire YouTube has been deleted, and a *ton* of people have been posting videos about how horrified they are that they had been uncritically supporting him, or funding his plagiarism on patreon.

To be honest, I find it a little unfair to say that the angry video game nerd was the one involved in plagiarism when it more was the screenwave media partnership that brought in the extra employees that then plagiarized and published work under the cinemassacre brand

We absolutely must be on different parts of the internet lol because most of the reaction to hbomberguy’s video has absolutely been on James Somerton 100% and not Internet Historian (not saying no one is talking about the others featured but comparatively James _is_ the one being completely ripped to shreds everywhere). Like James Somerton even got a negative response from Neil Gaiman himself. And literally the comment about Internet Historian’s audience was literally like what? 30 seconds out of 20+ minutes on Internet Historian? If that’s the main point to those people after the entire thing and it’s enough for them to whine about ‘omg he mentioned it for political reasons :(’ then lmao how pathetic.
