Also the thing about millennials not gambling as much is that the odds are so heavily stacked for the casinos now it's not worth it to just have a little fun

Millennials aren't getting the same gambling odds as their parents got either. Vegas should consider that too

I will say electronic screen only slots make me feel like they are more likely programmed to not pay out so I don’t use them

I must be an old fart to still be attracted to mechanical slots. I traveled with my folks to Las Vegas annually and seek out the gambling games my mother played that were plentiful before the turn of the century.

Vegas should reconsider imploding iconic casinos like the Sands. I miss many of the older ones...

Vegas was fun in the late 70s and early 80s. Not now. Too much corporate greed and scammers. I actually liked downtown more than the strip last time I went. Yeah I’m a boomer.

Millennials stopped gambling because they were out of money after getting ripped off with resort fees, parking fees and jacked up prices on everything in Las Vegas.

Millennials generally don't concern themselves with value. This has changed the Vegas experience dramatically for the long time Vegas player. Anything I would do in Vegas, I can now do it at home and do it with a better experience. I can see the same concerts for cheaper and they play longer shows. I can eat at quality restaurants for cheaper. I can gamble at better odds(in a smoke fee casino) and earn better comps.

Unfortunately, Las Vegas has jumped the shark. It has become Atlantic city with better weather

They believe in paying for parking, paying absurd resort fees, and playing stupid 6 to 5 blackjack.

Vegas is too corporate owned.

Need to go back to mom and pop casinos.

LV could possibly change millennial behavior rather than vice versa. Make gambling pay out more often! It doesn't have to be grand prizes, just more frequent gambler wins. Millennials love to get something for nothing!

Millennials have also changed the architecture of Vegas. Research showed that the next generation wasn't interested in kitsch or themes, so for the past decade or so all of the newer resorts that have opened up have either had no themes or very muted ones. Aria, Cosmo, and Fontaine Bleu all examples of this, where they don't even attempt silly things like pirate battle reenactments or fake sphinxes. Instead, they focus on perceived opulence and trendiness.

Personally, as an older millennial myself I think they went a bit too far. While I don't particularly like that goofy cartoon castle on the south end of the strip or the garish circus tent on the north end, but there's also nothing particularly eye-catching about the Cosmo or the Aria. They're just big high-rises. To me the Strip wouldn't be the Strip without those iconic landmarks like the fountains or the Eiffel Tower..

That football slot is really fun to play and the moo lah is really fun to play

Do millennials like paying all the Vegas fees?

As a millennial, I'm kind of tired of being told to value "experiences" above all else. Experiences are great, but also great when they can be done more than once. Vegas has grown stale because after you "do" most of the "experience" stuff the other stuff that's a draw (gambling in this case) is too restrictive with tight limits and stingy rewards programs.

vegas is becoming no fun vegas now, I remember when MGM wanted families to go to their resort so they spent a billion dollars on a theme park, it only operated for a few years because when ppl come as families no one gambles, as Vegas is getting expensive now ppl would rather gamble in their own city, between resort fees, parking fees and higher room rates, ppl have no money to gamble, before with cheap rooms and food ppl would gamble more

This just gave me an idea. Imagine 24hr gaming competitions in a casino. Anyone can bet for or against other players…
