I did confession on Friday after definitely more than 15 years, I hadn't felt this amount of freedom, hope and clarity in a long time. For me the best thing was to hear from the priest telling me that God has so much love for me despite all my sins and that even though I was wrong I ought not to keep my head down but rather acknowledge him in my future ways. I only wish I did it sooner. If you are thinking about please just do it.
