This is very wrong. There are curved and straight blades as much as short and long blades all over the world at all cultures. Same goes for armor.

There are curved european Swords and straight east asian ones. In some asian cultures the spread of high quality armour was similar to Europe (for example Japan) and Cavalry was not just an asian thing, european Cavalry used both straight and curved Swords in it's history, and both pretty successfull

That's not at all accurate. Both the East and West had heavy armor and both had straight and curved swords. Also if your opponent is wearing armor a sword is not necessarily going to be the best weapon for that fight. This video is just a bunch of bull.
