welcoming unskilled-unemployed migrants is fine as long as there are resources available, but today US is surviving on debt levels that are growing unsustainably. Further, adding 10-20 million people to the society in a year without first expanding infra such as schools/hospitals/etc. causes tremendous friction among people who are legally living here, and those who are coming in and demanding access to these same infra. Root cause of all these is the greed of certain corporations, and these corporations being able to influence politicians via lobbying (IMO just another name for "institutionalized corruption"). Put an end to lobbying, put an end to large corporate donations to funding elections, and put an end to the hundreds of unelected bodies setting rules that must be followed by everyday citizen.
