Thank you for your video. I feel what you pointed out needed to be said. Another con is that when you first start out you buy some savings challenges to get started and then realize they are not ones you enjoy. By this time you have spent a ton of money on several different ones. A good example for me was getting the monthly or seasonal color in savings challenges. I found coloring in a figure or checking off a box was boring and didn't motivate me. Most of my saving challenges now are games that involve dice, cards, etc. For any new cash stuffers out there are tons of freebies out Use these to figure out what you like first, then buy what you like or what motivates you. A definite Pro is that there are so many talented people creating so many different types of challenges.

oh and another thing, I did find myself getting discouraged when I wasn't making my savings goal amounts so I do small ones and when I finish those I actually go to my larger ones and use the money from the smaller ones that I completed and that is rewarding and it will help me get to my bigger goals sooner.

😢The amount of times I caught myself spending $100+ on things to help me save when I intend to be saving it. I had to set boundaries with myself when it comes to savings challenges because I always want to support small businesses ❤… but, you have to know your limit! I love saving challenges, it really helps me save money. I do also have sinking funds that I put into envelopes every paycheck. I have never been able to save money ever and now I can't wait to save with my challenges. I do have way too many of them and like to support other youtubers/etsy sellers. I am putting myself on a buy ban! LOL for at least a month (I'll try) :)

Omg! I just so happened to find this video! And you hit the nail on the head this entire video!!! The beginning of your video is how my desk looks but 10 times more… like I have two 3-ring binders full of downloadable savings challenges, two bags and a box full of physical challenges. I got to a point where I gave some to my mom and now she got them stashed away in a folder because it’s so many of them. My problem is I get so excited in the beginning for them and then I get bored with them. The ones I know I love and will stay are scratch offs but I’m afraid that I will get bored with those as well…. Ugh so crazy!

Congratulations on 4k! way to go. I agree I am sad when something comes up and I have to take the money out of my challenge even before I've completed it, but I'm very happy to have it to cover whatever I need it for. Like a bill or something. I've been able to say to myself, Oh I'm so glad I had this money in savings. Then I just start and save little by little again. Happy Easter

Hi Kris! 100% agree with everything! At the beginning of the year I usually have a realistic saving goals amount and use saving challenges to accomplish that so that keep me focus. This year I am doing 33+ savings challenges to save $10k but most are low amount and they were freebies! I saw some people doing minis and use that minis money toward bigger saving challenges.
