An important aspect is movement and awarness. Never put yourself in a bad spot and also without knowing who's moving near you. Always place yourself in smart strategic places whilr in the bus, walking the street etc.

Hey sifu Thomas. You should do a video about attackers that keep attacking. Here on the islands. We got nothing but warriors. So how would you take out someone who just keeps moving forward??

What about the double groin kick Bruce Lee did in the Big Boss? You have to eat shrimp chips while doing it for it to be effective though. 😂

most enemy don't really grabble, this is only in demonstrations and self defense books.
if one of them really gets hold of the defender the other will attack the defender, right not good to grabble in a two enemy situation.
if the defender has enough room to move, he can move behind the body of the first enemy or yet throw first enemy body towards the second coming enemy to distract him and from getting to the defender.
using kicking footwork in this scenario may not have the room to be fully executed. there the possibility of the kick getting jam between two moving objects.
never stand in the center, always keep moving or yet move backward to face a wall with your back to it. this way you block the other from attacking you from behind. learning to hit while moving backward is another idea, this can also distract their footwork and confuse them to stumble upon.
a finger jab alone can cause pain and distraction but may not drop the enemy.

I'm not attacking your technique, they have possibilities.
