The ADA needs to convince Congress that good dental health is just (if not more important) for people who qualify for Medicare as it is for people who qualify for Medicaid. I’m certain that the American Heart Association can provide you with more than enough research data to prove there is a direct correlation between good dental health and good coronary health.

In the Netherlands dentures is free of cost . The basic health insurance about 180 euros every month included this even implants . Even rebase reline . Also removing teeth.

If only dental insurance covered this. I'm currently wearing top and bottom partials. I really hope to one day get one of these options. I do have my own teeth but not very many of my own left. I really appreciate your video it gives great insight on options that are available

I have snapins 4 implants upper and 4 implants lower case, and am very happy with them. They are firm in my mouth, easy to clean. I go for a checkup and implant cleaning 3-4 times a year.

I’ve heard snap on are initially cheaper, but they are most expensive for ongoing care bc the gasket (rubber snap part) needs replaced regularly.

I’m having all of my current teeth removed. Top and bottom. I’m still pretty young 47 yrs old. What is the best to have over time? What feels the most real? Permanent or snap on? I’ve heard snap ones are easier to clean but which one is better over time for my age?

I had beautiful teeth but i wanted better so a Dentist i was referred to put bonding on my smile. He bonded 8 teeth but he put bonding on pretty teeth but i had gum disease and with the bonding i couldnt see what was goung on because with bonding you can't get to the places you need to treat...thats when i lost my teeth and a mid line facial infection that put me in the hospital..it was horrible! Im looking for a dentist to get the snap-in dentures so i can wear the bottoms and chew my food..I should have kept my teeth without the bonding! I can't afford the permanent inplants..I wish! Thank you!

I didnt have enough bone structure for any kind of implant so had to go with Dentures & theyre the worst things ive ever experienced...Got a flat pallette aswell, just so much material to fit in your mouth & no feeling when you try & bite or chew something, no feedback for how hard youre biting, theres nothing natural feeling about them & the way the pallette is so smooth & plasticy is feels gross & slimey I hate them so much & after two days I think im probably going to put them in the top drawer.

I just remembered something in healthcare that went down in cost over time, LASIK eye surgery. Anyone know anything else?

Doc, very informative video!

Can snap on dentures ever have the palate removed, or a large portion? Does that weaken it substantially? I am sure there have been patients who absolutely hate having the palate covered, not only for speech reasons but also for inability to taste food or feel its texture.

I have 10 year’s of payment’s for my snap in denture’s 🥴 I thought if you got snap in denture’s the adjustment’s were part of the really expensive cost my dentist told me I get 60 free adjustment’s and then I have to pay for each adjustment you pay so much money initially for them I would think that your adjustment’s would just be included
