The biggest tip to reduce dust buildup in your pc is to clean your bedroom/office regularly. If you clean the dust from the room, you won't have much left to go into your pc.

I helped a friend build a PC and warned him him for three years to dust out his PC. He didn't and his RAM got cooked. He was fortunate that his RAM had a lifetime warranty and got them replaced. We dusted out his PC and relocated his AIO from top to front for better performance.

i use a vacuum /shrug i just dont put it up to the important parts like cpu fan or gpu/ram/drives but dust filters / vents and fans sure fair game just make sure the fans dont spin.

Tip do not use a cloth either that is more static than the vacuum❤

You can 100% use a vacuum it’s perfectly safe. Just don’t get too close obviously and make sure all components are plugged in (as in inside the pc) and no loose screws.

Atm mine is on a wooden plank on the floor but i want to make a custom shelf to put it on because desk space is a no go so it will be a wall mounted pc as such.

I was thinking of using one of those rubber air compressors they use for phones ya know the manual ones where you squeeze em similar to the rubber parts on a 1920's perfume bottle, anyways I am gonna get one they only cost like £5

If i have hardwood flooring, will it matter still if it’s on the floor? It’s elevated about 2 inches off the floor with its special shelf that the desk has built in but still close to the floor
