This is a review on the Nokia charging plate from Verizon Wireless.

Charging your device

• Place your phone or other compatible device on the charging plate. When the white indicator light goes off, the battery is fully charged.
• It's normal for the plate and phone to get warm, and they may get even warmer if you use your phone to, for example, stream music while charging.
• Keep the area around the plate free. If there is something on the plate besides your phone, the phone doesn't charge, and the white indicator light blinks quickly.
• Make sure the plate doesn't get too hot. If the plate is too warm, take your phone off the plate, and switch the plate off. The plate may switch off automatically If it is too hot. When the plate has cooled down, try charging again.

Note: Parts of the Nokia Wireless Charging Plate DT-900 Are Magnetic. Do not place credit cards or other media items on or near the charger as they may be erased.

Strange but true: The charging plate is not compatible with the Nokia 822 -- out of the box, as sold by Verizon. A wireless charging back cover is required for this charger to be compatible with Verizon's Nokia 822. Verizon sells ($40) the Nokia 822 wireless charging cover separately.

Read This: Apparently some people have sent these back, thinking they didnt work. One user said, "When I got mine, I assumed the shiny plastic side faced up. It dosent. It didnt work. I simply flipped it over and it works fine."
