Very nice indeed! Adding a retractable USB cable yo tge charging plate would be cool too so you can use and charge and then assert night retract the cord and rest the phone for comfy overnight charging! Also it would be cool if the power supply was internal and the mains cord retracted too for travel! Of course, the plug may get in the way though with that :(

It looks good but it wouldn't be useful for be because it happens for me to use the phone while charging for calls and doing something quick and I hate it when i stop the charging process. Don't really know about these new phones but usually stopping the charging process damages the battery if you unplug it or in this case remove it from the plate a lot of times. I'll just stick to cables until they invent some kind of wireless charging without something big sticking on the phone.

Wireless charing would be great at home for me or at work if I had a permanent place for work i.e an office. but being constantly on the move a simple cable to phone makes more sense for me. any news on when/if you'll be getting a pre-release htc one to review? thinking of grabbing one with a new ee contract. great review :)

I thought I saw a video on Youtube in which the reviewer stated that you needed to put on a special cover on the 720 or 820 in order to charge wirelessly. Can you confirm this Dave? Is it also true that you can't charge WP8 phones when they are switched off?

What is the output of the charger? Will it charge my phone as fast as a 1.2 Amp charger?

Thanks. I was interested on how it charges at a distance. I just ordered one for an LG G4 inside an Otterbox. That adds about a cm from the back of the phone. I hope it works.
